Why go to Kyoto when you can come to Tianping Mountain in Suzhou

It is one of the four major maple viewing spots in China, and is known as the 'First Mountain in Wu' and 'Scenic Spot in the South of the Yangtze River'. In autumn and winter, the whole mountain seems like a palette poured by nature, adorned with ginkgo and red maple, the entire mountain forest is as beautiful as a painting. 💡Travel tips: 1️⃣Upon entering the scenic area, there are several ponds at the foot of the mountain. The red maple here turns red the earliest, and I personally think it is the best place to take pictures. Don't miss it if you like photography! 2️⃣ Ten Scenic Ponds, is the best viewing platform to appreciate the Tianping Mountain Scenic Area. 3️⃣ The core scenic area of Tianping Mountain, the Ancient Maple Forest, has several old maple trees over 400 years old, which are very special! Address: Navigate to Suzhou Tianping Mountain Scenic Area 🚗Transport: There is a parking lot next to the entrance of the scenic area. It is quite congested during the peak season, so public transportation is recommended. ▶️Get off at Mudu Station, the first and last station of Suzhou Metro Line 1, and walk about 1 kilometer to get there!
