Shihu Scenery

Shihu is a tributary of Taihu Lake, located at the eastern foot of Shangfang Mountain, on the shore of Taihu Lake, 5000 meters southwest of the ancient city of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and 5000 meters east of Taihu Lake, spanning the administrative districts of Huqiu District and Wuzhong District in Suzhou. Shihu is 4500 meters long from north to south and 2000 meters wide from east to west, with a water area of 2.56 million square meters, divided into East Shihu, West Shihu, and South Shihu, three lake surfaces. There are five dikes: Wu Dike, Yue Dike, Shi Dike, Yang Dike, and Fan Dike lying across the surface of the water.
