A New Style Museum in Suzhou - Wu Culture Museum!

The Wu Culture Museum, located in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, opened on June 28, 2020. It is the first new museum in China to be constructed and opened during the pandemic. This is the first museum in Suzhou to comprehensively exhibit the cultural characteristics of the Wu region. The museum is situated in the Tantailake Scenic Area, southwest of the Baotai Bridge heritage site of the Grand Canal, a World Cultural Heritage. It covers an area of 8,500.7 square meters and has a floor area of 18,666.88 square meters. The Wu Culture Museum focuses on the history and cultural heritage of Wuzhong, featuring cultural exhibitions, artifact research, public services, social education, leisure, and tourism. It is a new style museum that helps visitors understand Wuzhong and Suzhou.
