Check in at the Floral Hotel in Shushan, Suzhou~ The weather has been a bit chilly recently, so I wanted to take a hot spring bath. I chose the Floral Hotel in Shushan. As a platinum member, I was automatically upgraded to a better room. I booked the most basic Yunmu King Room and was upgraded to a private hot spring room with a courtyard. I booked in advance and got a discount on top of a discount. I stayed in a private hot spring room for less than CNY 600, which was a great deal! It took me an hour and a half to drive from Shanghai. The hotel is located in Shushan Ecological Village, which is very quiet. Compared to the Floral Hotel in Changxing, this one is much smaller and doesn't have a huge lawn. There are fewer rooms and fewer people, but the rooms are very delicate. The courtyard is large, and the private hot spring is very nice. There is no time limit! It's perfect for me and my big dog! The staff love dogs and are very friendly to them. They offered me a double portion of pet breakfast. There is also a litter of newborn kittens in the lobby, which are super cute! In the afternoon, I made a lot of handmade soap in the lobby. It was made of pure coconut oil and was quite fun. There are many places to eat nearby! You can walk to most of them. I went to Gejiawu Farmhouse, which is about 1 km from the hotel. The food was really delicious. I ordered the recommended steamed wonton chicken and crispy chicken, which were not expensive! This is much better than the Floral Hotel in Changxing. There is nothing to eat near the hotel in Changxing, and the food is very expensive! There is not much to do nearby. Shushan Ecological Village is quite simple. There is always the smell of farm manure on the road. When we went there, we couldn't pick pears, which was a pity! The Cuiguan pears here are very famous. It drizzled the next day, so we didn't go to Dayang Mountain. The hotel is small, so it was a bit boring.
