Wufeng Garden

Wufeng Garden is just a few steps away from Taibo Temple. Wufeng Garden is located at No. 16, Wufengyuan Lane, Changmen West Street. It was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming dynasty, covering an area of 0.15 hectares. The garden is mainly composed of mountains and ponds, and is famous for its stone peaks. The five Taihu stone peaks, 3–4 meters high, are exquisite and translucent, resembling five old men, hence the name "Five Old Peaks." It is said that the garden was built with the relics of the Huashigang of the Northern Song dynasty, and is a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province. Wufeng Garden is very small and free to visit. In autumn and winter, there are few tourists, but many cats. In a short time, you can see four cats, especially a little black cat, which is very friendly.
