The Suzhou Museum has a new "Splits Figurine"?

I went to the Suzhou Museum West Branch to see the last special exhibition of the year, "Life and Faith: The Art of the Han Dynasty." The title is a bit grand, but the content is quite empty. The exhibits are mainly "sponsored" by two museums: the Guangzhou Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the Xuzhou Museum. There are very few exhibits from other museums. The highlight of the exhibition is the "Gilt Bronze Boshan Censer," one of the three treasures of the Hebei Museum. A censer in a hall, with few exhibits and a large space, is quite extravagant. However, this exhibition features many Western Han and Eastern Han pottery buildings that are rarely seen in other museums, and several of them are considered "luxury homes." There are only one or two Han Dynasty pictorial bricks, and the "Peaceful Life" pictorial brick is a replica. The Han Dynasty figurines are not very impressive, perhaps because I saw too many wonderful ones at the Xuzhou Museum a few weeks ago.
