Tahe 22 Station

Tahe 22 Station is a forest farm located in the northeast of Daxinganling Forest Region, on the banks of the Heilongjiang River. It is under the jurisdiction of Tahe County Forestry Bureau. It borders Tahe Forestry Bureau's Riverbank Forest Farm to the west, Maling Forest Farm to the southeast, and Russia to the north across the main channel of the Heilongjiang River. Established in 1969, it is 87 kilometers away from Tahe County and has a cold temperate continental monsoon climate. Winters are long and cold, while summers are short and humid. Tahe 22 Station Forest Farm is not only an ancient post station on the ancient post road, but also one of the best-preserved post station sites along the entire post road. It is named after the 22nd post station on the ancient post road from Mohe to Mohe. This ancient post road was built during the Qing Dynasty to transmit military intelligence. After the Battle of Yaksa, the post road gradually fell into disuse until it was reopened in 1888 due to the development of the Mohe gold mine, becoming the "Gold Road". The 22nd Station Forest Farm was named after this, and it has become a popular destination for tourists to experience ancient post station culture, enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife.
