Negeri Taif, Wilayah Makkah, Saudi Arabia

I went and visited Negeri Taif while I was doing my Umrah pilgrimage. It was my first time, and I have no expectations. We went there by bus, which took us about 1hr 30mins from Tanah Haram. The journey was interesting when our Muttawif (tour guide) told us the history of the Negeri Taif. When we reach there, we were taken to this theme park where we played the Toboggan which was only SR25. Even tho it was sunny, the wind was cold because Negeri Taif is located in an elevated area. As we were done playing the Toboggan, we went to the Taif market, where we used a cable car that took about 20 to 30 minutes to reach the top. The weather up there was sunny however the temperature was about 25 degrees Celcius, it was pretty cold for a country that is known to be hot. The area was very isolated because they preserved the historical features where Prophet Muhammad experienced various situations throughout his time. Out of all, it was worth the experience since I have been studying and listening to the histories since I was a child, and finally seeing the places myself. #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #nationalpark
