Beitou Thermal Valley - Xinbeitou - Taiwan Travel

The Beitou hot springs are a must when travelling to Taiwan. Using the red line from Taipei, one can get to Beitou in around 20-45 minutes depending on the starting station. At Beitou, change to the Xinbeitou train which will take you to the entrance to the park. In Xinbeitou there are many activities which I will cover over a number of posts, but this one is dedicated to the thermal valley. From the Xinbeitou station, cross the road towards Beitou park. You can take a leisurely walk through the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Continuing past the public hot spring, which is located at the end of the park, you will find the thermal valley. I stayed in the Grand Pleasure Springs hotel nearby and chose to walk around the thermal valley in the morning, and was not crowded at all. There are many angles for taking beautiful photographs and selfies here. The walk is short and accessible for all. At the end of the park there are thermally heated seats if you go when the weather is cold.
