Renaissance Taipei Shilin Hotel experience, excellent service and quality

On the last day of our trip to Taipei, we chose the Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel, a hotel owned by Marriott, which is known as a paradise in the city. After getting off the MRT station, walk through a street and road, then go all the way and make a big turn to arrive. The sun was blazing that day, and it was a bit hard to hold my luggage while sweating without a roof to cover my head. When we arrived at the front desk, the staff immediately welcomed us. After placing our luggage, we were invited to the executive lounge on the 9th floor to rest and have some snacks and drinks. Since it takes time to prepare the room, we first visited the nearby Palace Museum. Then around afternoon, the executive lounge staff informed us via email that the room was ready. The room is arranged on the same floor as the executive lounge on the 9th floor. Although the area is small, it has all the facilities. Since there was no twin room, the hotel added an extra bed for us for free, which was very generous. Not only that, all drinks and food in the Mini bar are free, which saves us from having to shuttle between executive lounges and rooms. I feel that other Marriott hotels should do the same. The welcome desserts are chocolates with gold foil and cakes similar to coconut tarts, both of which are very delicious. I was also given two packs of cold dripping chicken essence, which made me feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness. The turndown service was in line with Marriott and Renaissance standards, and ice buckets were also prepared. It is said that the light and shadow patterns of roses and butterflies in the guest rooms and corridor walls are all inspired by the rose garden of Shilin Mansion. It makes guests feel like they are in the beautiful garden of Shilin Mansion. It is indeed clever. The room overlooks the entire Shilin Mansion, looking at the green grass, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and even seeing a few stars at night, it really feels like a paradise. #TaipeiHotel #Taipei Shilin Renaissance Hotel
