Ironwood Cafe

In the heaviest rain, I took shelter and came to Tiem to have coffee and dessert 🌧️ The coffee shop that came from Taichung to Taipei is located in an alley near Zhongshan Station 🏠 There is a narrow and straight staircase to go up to the second floor of the old house 😮 My friends asked me why I went to a coffee shop instead of seeing a doctor despite spraining my ankle 🤔 I underestimated the injury to my left foot, and since I'm returning to Hong Kong tonight, I just have to endure the pain 😣 It turned out that I was dragging my foot or hopping on one leg on the stairs to the coffee shop 🦵🏻😅 The owner might think I'm a weirdo if they saw me laugh 🫣 The cafe space on the second floor is not very large, but the first floor is high and well-lit, so it doesn't feel cramped at all 👀 The wooden decor features bar seats on both sides and two-person seats facing each other 🪑 The overall atmosphere is calm, comfortable, and of high quality 😌 The shop's specialties are today's fresh cream fruit cake and mandarin tea cake 🍊🍰 The sponge and cream are light and sweet, and the mandarin is very juicy 🤤💦 The Basque cake for dessert is also really delicious 🧀🥰
