Guangxiao Temple was built in the Yixi period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was originally called Wanshou Temple. Later, because Zhao Gou, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, was the one who saved the souls of the two emperors Hui and Qin, he ordered the temple to set up a dojo, and the edict changed its name to "Guangxiao Temple to repay the favor". Guangxiao Temple is filled with famous monks, the message of the Dharma spreads far and wide, and four people take refuge there. It is the center of the Taoist faith and an important place for tens of thousands of people to practice according to the Dharma. There are Shanmen Hall, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Sutra Library, Changxing and Nanting Memorial Hall in the temple. The main hall is also called the most auspicious hall. It is located in a busy city but is quiet and auspicious. Unlike most Buddhist temples, the plaque on the Main Hall reads "The Most Auspicious Hall", which sounds very auspicious. One of the gable walls is also engraved with the "Auspicious Sutra", which is very nourishing to read carefully. The garden on the right is also small and cute.
