And the best way to enjoy winter is to soak in the hot springs in Tengchong! · You don't have to worry about fake hot springs here, as Tengchong's geothermal resources are among the best in China, especially the four major hot springs in Tengchong: Bolian, Rehai, Angsana, and Lotus. You can choose any one of them. I chose Bolian Hot Spring this time. · ⛳Location: Located outside the west gate of Heshun Ancient Town, it is very close to the homestay we booked in Heshun, just a 5-minute walk away, very convenient. · 🎫Tickets: We got the tickets directly from the homestay owner, which was much cheaper than buying them directly from the official website. · 🌳Environment: The environment of Bolian is impeccable, exuding Chinese elegance everywhere. The buildings are mainly made of teak, using traditional mortise and tenon structures, with flying eaves and blue tiles, grand and magnificent. The entire hotel is set in the forest, and we saw a large area of colorful forest when we went, which was great for taking photos. · ♨️Hot Springs: Bolian Hot Spring is a carbonated spring, with clean and clear water, without the rotten egg smell of sulfur springs that we smelled in Rehai. Only 7 pools were open on the day we went, with limited choices. The pools are all separate, surrounded by greenery for privacy, and the overall feeling is like being in a forest. However, Bolian has almost no interesting water therapy, and the entertainment is not strong, so you can only soak in the hot springs, which may be boring for children. · 👩🏻‍💼Service: After all, it is a high-end hotel, and the service is very attentive. There are staff to guide you to change shoes at the entrance, provide waterproof bags for phones, and bags for wet clothes. The restaurant offers ginger tea, hot water, fruits, hot spring eggs, sweet potatoes, peanuts, etc., which is very considerate.
