The Porcelain House is the most expensive house in Tianjin, built with 9.8 billion yuan, incorporating over 700 million pieces of ancient porcelain, more than 13,000 ancient porcelain vases, bowls, plates, numerous Buddha statues, stone lions, as well as over 20 tons of natural crystals and agates. From the inside out, the walls of the house are inlaid with porcelain pieces, earning it the reputation of the 'Porcelain Museum of China' with inestimable value. The exhibition hall walls are decorated with porcelain pieces that vividly piece together Mr. Zhang Daqian's 'Lotus Flower Eight-Screen Painting'. The museum also houses many antique furniture pieces that exude an ancient charm. The exhibits are quite stunning to behold.
