Overview The Tianjin Ritz-Carlton Hotel Wanda is located at No. 8 Dazhigu in Hedong District. The hotel opened in 2013, adjacent to the Wanda Center and close to the picturesque Haihe River, where you can enjoy the night view of the Haihe River. It is about 10 minutes from the train station and about 20 minutes from the airport. Entering the lobby, you are greeted with the luxurious decoration style typical of Ritz-Carlton. The main painting in the lobby is based on Tianjin's classic architecture, showcasing the development history of Tianjin. Rooms I booked a basic room and was upgraded to an executive room. I arrived at the hotel at four in the afternoon and the room was not yet ready; several guests at the front desk were complaining about this. After seeing the membership information, the concierge guided me to the room. The room is about 43 square meters, not very large, equipped with a bathtub, refrigerator, and other necessary hardware facilities. The minibar is free for members to use, and the three welcome fruits provided were quite meager. There are few parking spaces on the ground, but there are quite a few underground, although it's a bit complicated to navigate. The night view of the Haihe River from the room is quite nice. There is no turn-down service. Dining Since the room was being cleaned, I went out first. When I came back, I had some food in the lounge. There were few dishes, but the staff service was very good. There was nothing particularly impressive, and it's better to order takeout or go out to eat than to choose here. Facilities The hotel is equipped with a gym, swimming pool, spa, and executive lounge. The swimming pool's decor makes it feel like you've come to a bath center, and the lounge's selection of drinks is not very rich. The lounge is open until 11 p.m. Conclusion The hotel's decoration looks very luxurious from the outside, but it is only suitable for viewing from a distance, not up close, after all, the hotel has been open for some time. The location of the hotel is still okay, relatively convenient to go to urban attractions. Unlike other Wanda hotels, it is not very close to Wanda Plaza. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Wanda Plaza. The overall food in the lounge is not bad, and the service is also very good 😍
