Tiantai Mountain Waterfall + Qiongtai Xiangu, 4-hour energy-saving route tested

✔️First things first, it's 【worth the visit】. The grand waterfall is quite impressive. Some people say it's man-made, but I don't think it detracts from the experience. I also visited the Shiliang Waterfall, which is a different experience. ✔️Qiongtai Xiangu is very beautiful. This energy-saving route was successfully completed on time by 2 non-hiking ladies and a 5-year-old child, proven to be feasible. 🚘There is a shuttle bus from Guoqing Temple to Tiantai Mountain Visitor Center to the Waterfall, with a bus every half hour, round trip 30r/person. It actually seems more cost-effective and faster to take a taxi when there are more people. 🚘From the Waterfall to the upper entrance of Qiongtai Xiangu, it's 10r/person one way, with a bus every half hour. You need to time it right, or you'll wait half an hour. Remember to buy a ticket at the ticket office before queuing. 🎫Tiantai Mountain Waterfall ticket is 100r, Qiongtai Xiangu is 65r, a combo ticket is 165r including the glass bridge (single price 80r). You can buy in advance or on-site, but after 13:30 on the same day, the combo ticket is no longer available. 🧗‍♂️Energy-saving route tested 【12:00】Arrive at Tiantai Mountain Waterfall, buy a combo ticket on-site, enter the scenic area, climb to the Shuilian Cave, round trip in one and a half hours, including feeding fish, taking photos, etc. Actually, there is a significant climb from the most popular photo spot to the Shuilian Cave, with many steps, slightly exposed to the sun, be mentally prepared. 📷Upon entering the scenic area, you can take a full view of the waterfall. There are also many koi fish here, with self-service fish food available for feeding. 📷At the bottom of the grand waterfall, there's a large rock. If you dare to climb up, it's very photogenic, but the area around the waterfall is a bit slippery, so be careful. 📷The stone bridge in front of the waterfall, the viewing platform on the left side is also good for group photos. 📷Shuilian Cave, there are four caves, and chairs to rest. 【13:30】Take the shuttle bus to the upper entrance of Qiongtai Xiangu. The bus ride is also nearly half an hour, and the mountain road is a bit thrilling, although the drivers are very skilled. 【14:30】Enter Qiongtai Xiangu from the upper entrance. Remember to go to the glass bridge first, it's quite stunning, but I still didn't dare to step right in the middle, it has a bit of a car sick effect, haha. 🧗‍♂️A little down from the glass bridge, there's a supply station. If needed, I suggest replenishing because there really isn't anything else along the way. 🧗‍♂️The following is mainly walking, actually not tiring, but it's hard on the knees (best to bring knee pads), the scenery is very beautiful~~everything is worth it, I feel that the scenic areas of Tiantai are very well planned, there are tables and chairs at several points for viewing waterfalls, very suitable for a leisurely trip (if time allows). 【16:00】Exit from the lower exit, take the free bus back to the grand waterfall (a bus every half hour).
