Guoqing Temple on Mount Tiantai is a charming spiritual sanctuary. It was built during the Sui Dynasty over 1,400 years ago and has a profound history. It is the ancestral home of the Tiantai School of Buddhism and holds a high status in the Buddhist world. The temple buildings are built on the mountain and rise in tiers. After being rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, it still retains its unique ancient charm. Walking through it is like traveling through a thousand years of time. The temple is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the two streams are full of spirituality. There is also the thousand-year-old Sui Mei, which is tall and straight, and tells the story of the years between the blooming and falling of flowers. There is no excessive commercialization here, it is open to the public for free, allowing you to calm down and feel the purity and solemnity of Buddhism. Whether you are interested in Buddhist culture or want to find inner peace, Guoqing Temple is worth a visit. Tour route: After entering from the entrance, first visit the Sui Pagoda, which was built by Emperor Yang of Sui for Master Zhezhe, and has stood for a thousand years, witnessing the changes of history. Then walk across the Fenggan Bridge of the Northern Song Dynasty, come to Hanshi Pavilion, and learn about the story of Hanshan and Shide, the poet monks of the Tang Dynasty. Then you will see the "Teaching View General Holder" wall, "Yi Xing to this water westward flow", "Sui Dynasty ancient temple" screen wall and other landscapes. Then enter the mountain gate and admire the white marble lion, the mountain gate hall, and the bell and drum tower. Continue to visit Yuhua Hall and Daxiong Hall, and then go to see Sui Mei and Mei Pavilion. Then visit the Furu Qianqiu Pavilion, Yaoshi Hall, Master Zhezhe Courtyard, Guanyin Hall, Sino-Korean Tiantai School Ancestor Memorial Hall, Fahua Jingchuang, Sanxian Hall, Miaofa Hall/Scripture Pavilion, Jade Buddha Pavilion, Arhat Hall, etc. in turn. Don't miss the Liu Gongquan Monument, Sansheng Hall, and Single Pen Goose Character Monument along the way. Finally, you can stay in Jialan Hall and Fish Le Guo for a while, and then leave from the exit.
