Cherry Blossom Viewing at Chidori-gafuchi

#tokyo As a country famous for cherry blossoms in spring, Japan boasts herself withvarious spots to view the cherry blossoms, including Tokyo. One of my favourite spot, in fact one of the best in Tokyo, is Chidori-gafuchi located nearby Kudanshita area, walking distance from the palace. The tens of thousands of cherry blossom trees line along the street and the valley is very nice and scenic to be viewed. The stretch of 2km is full of cherry blossoms, and you also can opt for a boat ride by the river, but expect a long wait due to its long queue. At night, the trees will also be illuminated with lights for night viewing as well. It is a very nice experience visiting there be it day or night to view the flowers.
