Tokyo Station, Japan's oldest railway station

Tokyo Station is a train station with a long history with the people of Tokyo. It opened on December 20, 1914, or 114 years ago. It was designed and built in Western architecture. During World War II, bombings damaged the train station, but the damaged parts were repaired and reused. Only 4 years later, a fire broke out again, so the train station had to be closed for repairs again. It has been open to the present day. Today, Tokyo Station is a railway junction with the largest variety of trains passing through and is the fifth busiest station in Japan.
