Shinjuku Tsubasa Coffee Summer Special! Corn Cheese Cake.

Recently in Japan, besides peaches 🍑, corn is also a seasonal delicacy! I specifically went to Tsubasa Coffee in Shinjuku to try the corn 🌽 cheese cake that's been trending on Instagram! Arriving 5 minutes before opening, I was already the 6th group in line, but I still managed to order the corn and fig cheese cakes! The corn cheese cake is very appealing, packed with corn kernels 🌽 that are so satisfying to look at. It tastes very refreshing, and the salty soy sauce 🍡 complements it well. The cheese cake itself is smooth and rich in cheese flavor. The fig cheese cake also looks great when sliced, with caramelized figs on top that are delicious! However, the rest is just a regular cheese cake 😆 The drinks are also good. I ordered a cold brew and a coffee tonic, and the coffee tonic served in a wine glass 🥂 looks especially nice!
