Plaza de las Cuatro Calles

The first thing about Plaza Cuatro Calles is that there are actually five roads that converge here, not four. It seems this name has been used since the 14th century. But the charm of the square also lies in its current architecture and its location. The square has incomparable views of the Cathedral and communicates almost directly with its clock door. This square is the commercial heart of the city, with shops selling clothing, perfumes, souvenirs and many more Visitors who pass through this albeit busy place on a daily basis are perhaps far from thinking that they are passing through one of the most charismatic places in the history of Toledo and of Spanish culture.
