I feel like living in Shishe Village could add a few more years to my life

Hi everyone! For the May Day holiday, I went to Shishe Village in Tonglu County, Hangzhou. This place is truly a hidden treasure! I'm going to share my travel experience with you all, so get your notebooks ready! Firstly, it's just a half-hour high-speed train ride from Hangzhou city center to Tonglu Station, and then about a 30-minute taxi ride to the beautiful Shishe Village. The scenery along the way is gorgeous, and it put me in such a great mood! You can also hear the sounds of insects and frogs, which takes me back to the summers of my childhood. As for food, the farmhouse dishes in Shishe Village are amazing! Stone-ground tofu, free-range chicken, cured meat. Each dish is filled with the taste of home, and I highly recommend trying them! In terms of sightseeing, the ancient Shishe Village is a must-visit. Walking through the alleys paved with bluestone slabs, I felt as if I had traveled through time. Ancient residences, ancestral halls, archways, each spot is a testament to history. We also visited the Shishe Reservoir, where the water is crystal clear and surrounded by mountains, it's as beautiful as a painting. The photos I took there are so beautiful they don't even need a filter! The most thrilling part was hiking through the Shishe Gorge, with waterfalls, streams, and unique rocks along the way, it was a feast for the eyes. However, everyone should be careful and it's best to go with friends for safety. We also walked along the ancient Shishe trail for a bit, imagining the bustling scenes of merchants in ancient times, it felt so magical. All in all, Shishe Village is truly a great place to relax your body and mind. If you also like such ancient villages and natural scenery, then hurry up and plan a trip!
