Ikegami Honmon-ji temple, Tokyo 🇯🇵

📍Ikegami Honmon-ji temple (池上本門寺) in Ota-ku, Tokyo This 750 years old temple has large grounds with many beautiful cherry blossom trees. I was lucky to visit the temple when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful and was very surprised when i arrived at the road leads to the five stories pagoda of the temple because it was very beautiful. People from the neighborhood come here to pray, to run up the stairs leading to the temple or to walk their dog. I felt like it was not olny a temple but a welcome place for all the people living nearby. It rained all day that day until i came to the temple so the light was not that good to take photos and videos.
