Small, cosy and comfortable

Vannes was yet another worthy find during our off season travel of Brittany. While we spent only two nights here but I belive we gathered the best of expericnes. And now Vannes comes highly recommended whenever someone asks me for suggestions in this region. Most of our time was spent enjoying the old town and the waterfront. Both with plenty of sights and activities. Vannes also serves as a gateway to several day trips. Mostly consisting of nearby islands. I find that to be an added advantage. The street market, food and performances that happen during those times make for a lovely cultural experience. There is ofcourse Mount st Michelle amongst the famous spots to visit here.
