Xieng Khuan Temple

Suan Phra, Chiang Khuan, Vientiane, Lao PDR This is a sculpture park located southeast of Vientiane. It was built by Pu Boonluea Sureerat or Pu Luea, a Vipassana practitioner and researcher of Buddhism and Hinduism. Each Buddha statue contains mystical teachings. The viewer must contemplate to understand. Inside the park, there are many statues, including Buddha statues, statues of Hindu gods such as Vishnu, Shiva, Indra on Erawan, and many other statues, totaling more than 200 statues. The highlight here is the large pumpkin-shaped statue, which has 4 levels and a door in the shape of a mouth.
