Vietnam is located in the eastern part of the Indo-China Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It borders Guangxi and Yunnan in the north, and borders Laos and Cambodia in the west. It has a narrow territory and covers an area of about 330,000 square kilometers. It is adjacent to the South China Sea and has a coastline of more than 3,260 kilometers.
