🇵🇹 Glasshouse Restaurant by Douro River in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal

We had a wonderful dinner at Ar de Rio, a terrace bar and restaurant in a glasshouse by the Douro River in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and provides amazing views of Ribeira, Porto's old town. Specializing in Western cuisine, the restaurant mainly serves steaks and francesinha, a Portuguese sandwich that originated in Porto. However, we opted for grilled fish as we preferred seafood. The main dishes were accompanied by salad and a choice of rice or potatoes.
