It is a monument with a cross-shaped base and two supporting columns that hold a central column with a square plane, corner pilasters, and a sculptural crown. The upper part is the most interesting part of this work, consisting of a central square section that serves as the base for the statues, culminating the entire work and representing Catalonia. The four statues distributed along the central column represent Barcelona, Vilanova, Valls, and the railway line. The set includes medallions with sculptures and portraits of railway workers such as Francesc Gumà i Ferran, Víctor Balaguer, Pau Soler, and Joan de Torrents, as well as commemorative inscriptions.
