Stroll Through the Heart of Vladivostok 🌊

#citystroll A city stroll through the center of Vladivostok offers a wonderful mix of rich history, unique architecture, and breathtaking seaside views. Start your walk at Svetlanskaya Street, the city's main avenue, where you'll encounter an array of 19th-century buildings, cafes, and shops. Head towards Central Square (Ploshchad Bortsov za Vlast Sovetov), which is the heart of the city, and a great place to take in some of Vladivostok's vibrant urban life. For a mix of history and intrigue, visit the Millionka District, once a bustling area filled with Chinese immigrants in the early 20th century, known for its winding alleys and hidden courtyards. Today, Millionka has transformed into a trendy spot with cafes and small shops while still holding onto its historical charm. End your walk at Arbat Vladivostok, a pedestrian street full of local shops, street performers, and a lively atmosphere, perfect for some shopping or grabbing a coffee to wrap up your exploration. ‼️Don’t miss to visit the Vladivostok Railway Station, a symbol of the Trans-Siberian Railway's eastern terminus. The station’s architecture is beautiful, with ornate details and a sense of history that marks the end of the world's longest railway line.. #100waysoftravel #fareastrussia #vladivostok #travelrussia

Vladivostok

Vladivostok is a city in the Russian Far East. It gets really cold in winter so I recommend to plan your trip to Vladivostok from May till September. ✈️ Getting There - Vladivostok is located near Japan, China and Korea so pretty much the only way to get there is by plane. Vladivostok has an airport express train that will take you straight to Vladivostok’s city center, another perk is that the train passes by great sceneries. 🎠 Attractions - My favorite place to visit in Vladivostok is the aquarium on the Russian island, it has a lot of interesting fish and animals in there and the area outside the aquarium is just wonderful, it is right by the seaside. Another great place to visit is the Tokarevski Lighthouse. When the tide is low, the shallow path appears which you can use to walk to the lighthouse. You can walk along the seaside and the riverside, rent a longboard or a bicycle 🚲 at Naberezhnaya Tsesarevicha. You can visit Vladivostok’s surf camp and learn surfing or just rent a standup paddle. You can visit Russian theater and absorb local culture. 🥞 Food & Restaurants - Russian food is amazing, there are a lot of great restaurants with good service. Don’t forget it is in the culture to tip the waiter 15-20% in Russia. Start with having Russian pancakes for breakfast, they are called Blini, they are often served with condensed milk or they are stuffed with cottage cheese, potatoes, meat, cabbage. The next dish to try is Sirniki, it’s some sort of pancakes made of cottage cheese often served with sour cream. There are a lot of dinner dishes in Russia, it would take me dozens of pages to name them all, just prepare your stomach to eat a lot in Russia because it’s just so good 😍😍😍 Enjoy your trip to Russia and don’t freeze if you decide to go in Winter ❄️ #russia #vladivostok #travel #vacation #citytour #travelling #holidays #food #city #citycenter #island #passionpassport
