#myhiddengems During my summer vacation, I visited Himara Castle in Albania, and it was an unforgettable experience! 🏰🌅 Perched on a hill overlooking the charming coastal town of Himara, the castle provided stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the surrounding landscape. The entrance fee was around €3, making it an affordable adventure. Exploring the ruins of the castle was like stepping back in time. Although parts of it are in ruins, the remnants of ancient walls and towers still tell a compelling story of its historical significance. The climb to the top was a bit steep but definitely worth it for the panoramic views and the sense of history. 🏞️🌊 After visiting the castle, I enjoyed wandering around Himara’s picturesque old town. The narrow streets are lined with local shops and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Albanian cuisine and freshly caught seafood. 🦑🍇 Himara Castle is a must-see if you're exploring the Albanian Riviera.
