Museum of King John III's Palace , Poland

Wilanów Palace is the Baroque gem of Warsaw. The palace and garden remained unchanged despite annexations, wars and occupations. The ruler, who gained the nickname of the fearless Lion of Lechistan, lived in the palace with his beloved wife, Maria. The Wilanów Palace was established at the behest of King Jan III as his suburban summer residence. The shape of the Palace is clearly symmetrical, with the building divided into the northern part, with decorations dedicated to Queen Marie Casimire, and the southern part, “assigned” to King Jan III. #palace 🇵🇱 #warsaw
