Lake District, UK: Lake Windermere | The hometown of Peter Rabbit

This time we went to Lake Windermere, the largest and most representative of the Lake District. It is the hometown of Peter Rabbit and the filming location of 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. It is recommended to go on a sunny day, take a walk along the long Lake Windermere, the scenery along the way is pleasant, and you can also feed the swans and pigeons by the lake. 🏨Hotel environment: Storrs Hall Hotel, a hotel transformed by the Duke of Storrs Hall from his own estate, has a beautiful lake view and is highly recommended. 🍽Dining recommendation: The two most praised restaurants in the Lake District, Porto and Hylton, are actually front and back doors. We later chose Porto, their salad is very delicious, the lamb chops are very tender, the mushroom risotto is a bit salty, but the overall taste is not bad. The key is that the chocolate they give is very delicious. 🌟Highlights: Harry Potter's same steam train didn't have time to ride this time, but many people recommend going for a ride. 👎Least recommended: If you are short on time, just skip the boat trip, the lake view is almost the same.
