Wu'an ☞ Qiyuan Homestay Highlight: Choosing to stay here for a two-day and one-night trip after the Spring Festival staggered travel period was incredibly wise! The location is within the Qibu Gorge scenic area, a standalone two-story building. By registering the license plate number in advance, you can drive directly into the scenic area. We booked the Lu'an Liu Suite, the largest one, which can accommodate two families without any issues. It has four adults and about two 6-year-old children, with a separate wet and dry bathroom shed on both the first and second floors. Near the large bed, there are tea tables, and on the outside, there are two balconies. The second floor also has a large living room, providing a very spacious activity area. The decoration style is simple and serene, with smart home features throughout the house, equipped with Huawei speakers, 5G Wi-Fi, a projector, and it seems that underfloor heating was also installed. The interior is super warm, and we never even turned on the air conditioning. Even in the mountains, it's not cold at all, and every corner of the house is incredibly photogenic - just perfect! All three meals are included in the accommodation, offering economical and distinctive dining that fully meets the standards of eating well and being satisfied. Breakfast includes three types of staple foods, ten cold dishes, ten hot dishes, milk, porridge, and eggs, with the option to have more if it's not enough. Lunch is firewood-pulled noodles, which can also be refilled indefinitely. Dinner is hot pot, featuring a distinctive copper pot for dipping, with fried eggs, salted meat, crispy meat, sour cabbage, tofu, kelp, and vermicelli all cooked in one pot, and you can have as much as you want. The taste is also quite good. Note that although breakfast and dinner are provided for four people, the children were not charged extra. For lunch, the two children were charged 20 yuan for the pulled noodles, which was the only time we paid during the entire stay. The accommodation included two tickets for Qibu Gorge activities, covering the scenic area entrance fee, snow play park, parent-child park, and ski slope. Each attraction is very child-friendly, with all children on the edge of the height requirement being admitted for free, which is fantastic! Although we only had two tickets, we had a very fulfilling time. The snow play park was visited by the mothers with the children, and the parent-child park by the fathers. On the second day, the mothers took the kids to the Qibu Gorge scenic area, trying out various equipment, including the sightseeing car, flying carpet, walking, and alpine slide. Finally, we reached the location of the 129th Division Field Hospital. After the children finished visiting, the fathers drove up, and we continued our journey by car, admiring the ice waterfall landscape, which was truly beautiful. With limited time, we didn't spend much at the ski slope, and indeed, we were physically exhausted. A small incident occurred during a meal in the private dining room, which, besides the dining table, also had a tea table and a mahjong machine (free to play). A screen was used to separate the areas, and a child from a friend's family accidentally knocked over the screen. The wooden screen was heavy, and the noise was loud, startling everyone. The parents called a waiter to offer compensation, but after contacting the owner, the owner said not to worry about it and that as long as the child was fine, it was okay. I was truly impressed by the owner's magnanimity and sincerely wish the owner prosperity and a booming business.
