Guiyuan Zen Temple is located on Guiyuan Temple Road, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It was founded by Master Baiguang in the 15th year of the Shunzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1658 AD). Covering an area of 153 mu, it has more than 200 halls and houses over 7,000 volumes of various Buddhist scriptures. Guiyuan Zen Temple belongs to one of the five families and seven sects of the Zen Buddhism Cao Dong Sect, hence it is also known as Guiyuan Zen Temple. It is also called 'Hanxi Yi Jing' because of its ancient trees reaching the sky and its lush floral and wooded landscape. It is also the location of the Wuhan Buddhist Association. 🌟 When visiting Guiyuan Temple, be sure to 'count the Arhats' 1⃣️ Men on the left, women on the right 2⃣️ Enter the Arhat Hall and count according to your actual age, men start from the left, women from the right. 3⃣️ Start counting from the Arhat you feel a connection with upon entering 4⃣️ After counting, remember the number of the Arhat you counted and buy your number card when exiting.
