The Wuhan Nationalist Government was located at No. 708 Zhongshan Avenue. In December 1926, the Nationalist Government moved from Guangzhou to Wuhan amidst the victory of the Northern Expedition. Wuhan became the capital of the Nationalist Government and the center of the national revolution. The Wuhan Nationalist Government was a revolutionary government in which the Communist Party participated and cooperated with the Kuomintang. Before May 1927, it adhered to the "three major policies", opposed imperialism externally, recovered Hankou, and the British concession in Jiujiang, and internally, it severely hit the Beiyang warlord forces, supported the workers and peasants mass movement, carried out domestic construction, and fought against Chiang Kai-shek's military dictatorship, promoting the high tide of the national revolutionary trend. Due to the betrayal of the revolution by the Wang Jingwei Group, the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the national revolution failed, and the Wuhan Nationalist Government was disbanded in September 1927. The Wuhan Nationalist Government wrote an important chapter in China's modern history. Its achievements and subsequent failures tell us that the establishment and consolidation of a united front of multi-party cooperation is the magic weapon of the Chinese revolution. Only when the Chinese Communists correctly grasp this magic weapon can the revolution continue to advance.
