The visitor center is at the foot of the mountain, and after ticket inspection, it is about 20km to the top of the mountain. Go up 2km to reach the highest point of Jiugong Mountain, Tonggubao, which has a parking lot and a viewing platform where you can set up tents. During the peak season, there are more cars at the top of the mountain, so you can choose to sleep in the car. During the off-season, it is suitable for tent camping. 2. Drive around from the right rear side of the Xingkong Taoyuan Hotel to the stargazing camping base under Wind Turbine No. 8. The campsite is operated during the peak season, and you can set up your own tent ▲ for a fee of 100 yuan per tent, or you can directly rent a tent from the campsite. 3. Park your car in the parking lot at the entrance of the Xingkong Taoyuan Hotel, set up a tent ^ camp or sleep in the car in the parking lot. If you want to see the starry sky and the Milky Way, you can go up the mountain from the left side of the hotel and walk to the area around Wind Turbines No. 6, 7, and 8 to see the starry sky and the Milky Way. Stargazing Guide Jiugong Mountain has a relatively high altitude and little light pollution. After nightfall, the sky is full of stars. When it is clear and cloudless and there is no moonlight, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. The summer Milky Way generally reaches a visible height after 9 o'clock, rising from the southeast and setting in the southwest. The best places to view the Milky Way are along the Tonggubao, and Wind Turbines No. 6, 7, and 8. The dirt road between the Xingkong Taoyuan Hotel and the stargazing camping base is the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset at Tonggubao.
