The lakes of the Mountain Resort~Scenery on the water

Visiting the Mountain Resort, after touring the palace area, take a car from the mountain area to the lakeside, and then take a boat to enjoy the scenery on the lake. The lake area of the Mountain Resort is the most scenic area of the resort. Most of the scenic buildings in the area are modeled after famous spots in Jiangnan. The islands are connected by dikes, pavilions, and dams. The willows on the shore sway gracefully, the islands are scattered, the flowers and trees are lush, and the pavilions are hidden, presenting a typical Jiangnan water town scenery. Emperor Kangxi once praised it as 'natural scenery surpassing West Lake.'
