The Splendid Pan Mountain, a marvel of the Taihang Range

Pan Mountain Scenic Area is currently a less popular destination with few tourists, but as the construction of the scenic area gradually improves, this small area showcasing the charm of the middle Taihang Mountains will inevitably become more famous. I strongly recommend that if you are passing by, take the time to visit. Transportation: Pan Mountain is located at the border between Wuxiang County and Licheng County, northwest of the Huangya Cave Scenic Area, and is a 50-minute drive from the county town (the distance is not far, but the roads are all mountainous). It is recommended to drive yourself (as taxi costs are higher). You can enjoy the scenery along the Taihang No. 1 Highway at your leisure. There are a few sharp turns to be aware of, but the rest of the road is relatively easy to navigate. Play method 1 (entering the scenic area): Navigate to the Pan Mountain Scenic Area parking lot, where there is ample parking space and not many vehicles (even during the National Day period, at 11:00 only about half of the parking spaces were occupied). The ticket is 25 yuan, with no extra charges for cable cars or shuttle buses. The scenic area is a single road leading straight to the highest peak, Hua'ernao (2008 meters). The road is not rugged, and the first half is mostly gentle slopes, with no confusing intersections, so there's no need to worry about taking the wrong path. It is recommended to rest at the pavilion and enjoy the scenery. The scenic area is not large, and the tour can be completed in 2 hours. If you are pressed for time, you can turn back after reaching the Sentinel Pavilion. Play method 2 (parking spots): There are many free parking spots along the Taihang No. 1 Highway where you can stop and enjoy the scenery at any time. However, I especially recommend the two parking spots south of the main entrance of the Pan Mountain Scenic Area, where you can directly feel the majestic grandeur of the Taihang Mountains.
