Famous Yellow Flowers in Jiangling, Wuyuan

The Jiangling Scenic spot in Wuyuan, Jiangxi is famous for the yellow rapeseed (canola) flowers that bloom in the spring! Late March to early April is the best time to visit and catch the flowers at the right time. It’s perfect for photographers and those who want a scenic day out in nature! Getting There - You first can take a train into Wuyuan Train Station, or fly into Huangshan Airport or Jingdezhen Airport. From there I recommend hiring a car or getting a taxi to the scenic area (from Jingdezhen this was around 1 hour 40 minutes). It’s quite a drive, but really lovely views along the way! Attractions - The Jiangling Scenic ticket costs 80RMB. There are multiple viewing platforms and paths for walking through the terraces and seeing the flowers. Hotels - There are several hotels in the area. We stayed at the Jiangling Garden Hotel, it was a very basic hotel, nothing fancy and few amenities, but it was a fantastic location to wake up and be right next to the flowers. It was easy to walk up to the No. 1 & 2 viewing platform for a view above the terraces. The owner was lovely as well and made us breakfast and lunch. Other things to do: Most people combine Jiangling with other villages in Wuyuan, like Huangling or Sixi. It’s definitely worth exploring around the area! #wuyuan #chinatravel #jiangxi #china
