Terra Cotta Soldiers on the March

Getting There - by bus or taxi from Xi'an city center Attractions -  large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210BC), the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China. It is such an incredible place! I am so happy that this year I have managed to see the warriors. Although it was a national holiday weekend and the place was busy, it didn't feel like the area was overcrowded with the tourists. Everyone has to follow the route, so it was really organized. The history of the warriors is fascinating and I think if you live in China, you should take a trip to Xi'an at least once!
