Xi'an Museum

Xi'an Museum, located at No. 72 Youyi West Road, Beilin District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, covers a total area of about 160,000 square meters, with a building area of 16,000 square meters. It is under the jurisdiction of Xi'an Cultural Relics Bureau and is a local comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, scientific research, social education, and garden leisure. On May 18, 2007, Xi'an Museum was officially opened to the public. The museum consists of three parts: the museum itself, the site of the Tang Jianfu Temple, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. By the end of 2019, Xi'an Museum had 111,928 pieces/sets of collections, including 11,029 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics. It held 11 exhibitions, organized 104 educational activities, and received 3.422 million visitors.
