Proud Guest Night Food: A Famous Late-Night Eatery in Xiamen

When it comes to late-night eateries in Xiamen, Proud Guest is a household name. Currently, Proud Guest Night Food has five branches in Xiamen: Binlang Branch, Huamei Branch, Wuyuan Bay Branch, Houjiangdai Branch, and Ruaner Branch. I often visit the Binlang and Houjiangdai branches. This time, I'll talk about my recent visit to the Binlang Branch. 📍The Binlang Branch is located at No. 9 Binlang Road, right next to Lianyi Plaza. It's very convenient to get to, and it's near Yundang Lake, so you can take a leisurely stroll after your meal. The restaurant has two floors with an industrial-style decor, which is simple and perfect for small gatherings with friends. It stays open until 1 AM. 🥘Proud Guest frequently updates its menu with new dishes. For example, this time I tried the new sea clams and taro pot. We ordered many dishes this time: ① Golden Sand Assistant: Crispy on the outside ② 7-Second Tender Pork Liver: A must-order every time. The pork liver is indeed very tender and stir-fried with bean sprouts, which are very fresh. ③ Stir-Fried Intestines: The radish is quite sour, and the intestines could be a bit crispier for better taste. ④ Craving Frog: Really delicious, fresh, salty, and tender. ⑤ Jiangxi Kiln Stir-Fried Noodles: Another must-order, but even the mild spice level can be a bit spicy, so be cautious if you don't eat spicy food. ⑥ Stir-Fried Sea Clams: I still think stir-fried clams are more fragrant. These sea clams are small and a bit hard to eat. ⑦ Farmhouse Taro Pot: The taro is cooked very soft and glutinous. ⑧ Crispy Pepper Chicken Wings: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and deliciously spicy. ⑨ Stir-Fried Lettuce with Fermented Black Bean Fish: Essential green leafy vegetable for every meal. I've also tried Proud Guest's grilled fish and marinated shrimp before. I'm not a fan of marinated dishes, but a friend of mine loves them and thinks they're great.
