You can see the Haicang Bridge from the window, and I must say the experience was really great. Just show your room card and register to get a wristband for the locker. The locker has towels and slippers, but you can also bring your own. It seems there are coaches available to teach you how to swim too. 🍵 The hotel room also has a complete set of tea-making tools and an ice bucket... Sitting on the sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the scenery of Haicang while drinking tea, it's so relaxing. Review of the pool: Water quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The water is clear, with a greenish tint rather than blue. It’s an external circulation pool. There’s a bit too much disinfectant; I only swam for 50 minutes today, and my skin felt a bit dry afterward. Spaciousness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 25*4*3 lanes, with an average of three people per lane. There are only three lanes: a teaching lane, a fast lane, and a play lane. There are fewer people in the afternoon on weekdays, mostly concentrated in the four-meter-wide fast lane. It’s the widest lane I’ve ever seen. Water temperature: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The water is a bit cool at first but quickly becomes comfortable, around 28 degrees Celsius. Water depth: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1.4 meters, with both deep and shallow pools. I only experienced the deep pool. It’s just right, not too deep or too shallow, very comfortable to swim in. Number of children: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No children learning to swim in the afternoon on weekdays, which is great! Changing room environment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The temperature is suitable, there are enough showers, each independent shower room is large, and there are bulk shower gel and shampoo. There are enough lockers and benches. There’s also a sauna room. Parking: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel parking lot is free. Remember to tell the front desk to manually enter your license plate number instead of scanning the QR code to get a parking discount coupon. Manual entry is free, while the coupon only partially reduces the parking fee. Recommendation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Haicang is really a bit far. It takes 25 minutes to drive from the island during non-peak hours, and I recommend taking the Haicang Bridge for a faster route. Parking is convenient, the environment is great, and there are many places to eat nearby. The advantage is that there are fewer people, the lanes are wide, and there are no kids. The hotel guests are generally well-behaved, and the water is unlikely to be dirty.
