The steep red mountains of the Tianshan Tuomu'er Grand Canyon are covered with snow-white salt layers, like exquisite natural scrolls. The salt mine is melted by spring water, forming white salt pillars, salt cones, salt waterfalls and other peculiar landscapes. Tuomu'er Grand Canyon is one of the largest and most aesthetically valuable red-layer canyons in the north and south of Tianshan.
