The ancient temple named after the country

Guoen Temple was founded in the first year of Hongdao of the Tang Dynasty, located at the foot of Longshan Mountain in Xinxing County, originally named Baoen Temple. Emperor Zhongzong of Tang, Li Xian, named it "Guoen Temple". This is the birthplace and place of nirvana of the Sixth Patriarch Huineng, with the fragrant litchi tree planted by the Sixth Patriarch himself, and the spring water from the ground where the tin rod was placed... This ancient temple of more than 1,300 years is known as the "First Sacred Land of Lingnan".
