Xinzhou Ancient City

Xinzhou Ancient City is located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. The city of Xinzhou was first built in the 20th year of Jian'an during the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of over 1800 years. Xinzhou Ancient City was constructed according to the traditional planning ideas and architectural styles of the Chinese nation, concentrating on the historical and cultural characteristics of the Chinese nation. Throughout history, it has often been the seat of counties and prefectures, a strategic pass, a place of outstanding people, bustling commerce, and a contested area for military strategists, hence the name 'Key to Northern Shanxi'. Xinzhou has a rich cultural heritage, with traditional arts that have a long history, and it has nurtured many influential figures in the history of the Chinese nation, such as Ban Jieyu, the Yang Family Generals, Yuan Haowen, Bai Pu, Sa Dula, and Xu Jishe.
