🏝️My first time in Xishuangbanna, I experienced a change of time and space, from the frozen north to the lush south. As a travel enthusiast for many years, I think: Xishuangbanna is a place to relax, and the best way to travel is to relax and have fun at the same time. If you don't relax, you will probably feel its commercialization. But if you slow down, you may feel a more authentic Xishuangbanna. 🏞️I stayed in Xishuangbanna for 16 days, during which I lay in the hotel for two days because of a cold, and I had an itinerary every day, but it seemed like I didn't have an itinerary. I condensed my 16-day itinerary into four days. It looks like this: Day 1: Arrive at noon, Lancang River, Golden Pagoda, Starlight Night Market Day 2: Manting Park, Zongfo Temple, Xishuangbanna Night Tour Day 3: Manyuan Village, Prajna Temple Day 4: Ganbai in Ganlanba, walk in the vegetable market 🥻Winter outfit: Xishuangbanna has a tropical climate, so you basically need summer clothes, but it is a little cool in the morning if it rains, so you can wear a thin coat in the morning and evening. You can also bring sunglasses, hats, and pretty dresses for photos. 🏡Accommodation: Weiqingcheng Garden Hotel, the price is very affordable in the off-season, a standard room is less than CNY 100 per night, so you can stay for a few more days. 🥘Food: In my opinion, the food in Xishuangbanna is divided into two areas, inside and outside Gaozhuang (the old town). These two places are like two worlds. Although Gaozhuang is a new area of Xishuangbanna, it is actually a scenic area, and everything is mainly for tourists. Those internet-famous restaurants are no different from other places. The restaurants in the old town are generally not very hygienic, but there are a few small restaurants with authentic flavors that are delicious. I will write a special article in a few days. 📌Tips: 1️⃣Ganbai in Ganlanba is held every Saturday. You can take a bus to the station and get off. Remember that it is CNY 10 per person. 2️⃣There are not only Manyuan Village, but also Manzhang, Mandiu, etc. Manyuan Village is big but far away, so you have to decide which one to go to according to your situation. 3️⃣You can't wear too revealing clothes in the temple. You can't wear the Dai clothes bought at the night market, so you have to bring a coat. 4️⃣The night market is very big, so you can compare prices. The prices in different areas are different, and the main street is expensive. 5️⃣You can plan a day to rent a car and go to the surrounding places, which is more cost-effective. 6️⃣As for taking photos, I am not interested in the same poses and scenes, but if you like this, you can choose a reliable one to take photos, which is also an experience.
