He Garden in Yangzhou

He Garden, located at No. 66 Xuningmen Street, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, also known as 'Jixiao Mountain Villa', is a classical Chinese garden architecture that was built in the mid-Qing Dynasty. It is acclaimed as the 'Number One Garden of the Late Qing Dynasty', covering an area of over 14,000 square meters, with a building area of more than 7,000 square meters. He Garden was constructed during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty by He Zhishuo, and the Pianshi Mountain House is a masterpiece of rockery by the master Shi Tao. Many famous people have lived in He Garden. The renowned traditional Chinese painting master Huang Binhong, who visited Yangzhou six times, resided in the east wing of the Qima Building. The famous writer Mr. Zhu Qianhua also lived in He Garden for over five years, with his former residence in the east wing of the second floor of the Qima Building. He Garden is a national key cultural relics protection unit, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and one of the first batch of 20 key parks in the country. Its main attractions include the Fu Dao Corridor and the Qima Building, among others.
