Yibin City, Lizhuang Ancient Town.

Lizhuang Ancient Town was built in the 6th year of the Datong period of the Liang Dynasty (540 AD), with a history of more than 1,480 years. Historically, it was the seat of Liutong County and Nanguang (Nanxi) County for more than 400 years, and was an important political, military, economic, and cultural center in southern Sichuan. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Lizhuang Town became an important cultural center in China. In October 1940, several higher education institutions and research institutions, including the National Tongji University and the National Central Research Institute, moved to Lizhuang, which had a profound impact on Chinese society, economy, and culture. These institutions left a large number of historical sites and cultural wealth in Lizhuang.
