Yiliang Cherry Blossom valley

Not far from Kunming, Yiliang County (宜良县) is worth checking out in late March when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom! 📍Address: Yiliang county, Kunming#cherryblossom2024 💞Reasons to Recommend: Not too crowded and plenty of spots to take pictures From Kunming's East Bus Station (昆明东部汽车客运站), there are daily buses departing every 15 minutes. A one-way ticket costs just 25 RMB, and the journey takes around one hour. Once you arrive in Yiliang, you can use Didi to get to the cherry blossom area (avoid taxis, as they tend to refuse trips there). At the entrance, it's better to ask the driver to take you past the gate for an additional fee. We didn’t know about this option, so we had to walk about 15 minutes to get there. 😄 The valley isn't too large, but you should plan to spend at least half a day, or even a full day if you'd like to camp there.
